Meet Tess and Sarah - students at Suffolk County Community College. In 2015-16, Sarah was president of the school's Anime Club where she met fellow member, Tess. Both students share their experiences growing up as adoptees of Asian descent on Long Island, discovering anime and how it helped them connect with their deeper selves, their peers and their heritage.
